Have you started to show yet? hah, funny.
Gender: It's a BOY!!!
Labor signs: nope
Belly button in or out: trying to bust out.
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or moody most of the time:  Happy
Looking forward to: This weekend! We are taking our first class and I'm looking forward to getting some baby stuff organized!

We feel so good about the hospital we'll be delivering our son in. One of my favorite things I learned about was something they do called "The Golden Hour". Basically after delivery whether you're breastfeeding or not or having a C section or not they place the baby on your direct skin (usually between your boobs) and everyone leaves you alone. That means Dr's nurses, visitors. Its just you and your husband and baby for a whole hour bonding. Its supposed to calm your baby when he is listening to your heart beat and breathing on your chest. I am very selfishly looking forward to this. I get a whole hour after he's born to have him completely to myself one more time. I'm not not happy about sharing him but I think it will help both of us acclimate to him not being all warm and cozy inside me.

I had a conversation with a fellow pregnant friend that is due a week before me about how I was feeling. I felt like I was disconnected a little bit and sort of not excited about being pregnant. She explained it better. She said she felt bored basically. And that is pretty much what I've been trying to say. The exciting new parts are over and now its more of just trying to prepare (when will nesting set in??) and waiting for his arrival. I just want him to get a little fatter before he makes his debut but I'm very ready to meet him!
